Upsizing: We help you understand affordability, your budget and whether its the most appropriate advice to port your existing mortgage to new property or start the process with a new lender.
Downsizing: Downsizing offers opportunity to free up capital, lower monthly outgoings, and enjoy more financial freedom. We’ll help you evaluate the most suitable options – whether paying off your mortgage completely, arranging a smaller one, or considering interest-only solutions.

- Access suitable rates when switching lenders
- Release equity for renovations or other purposes
- Reduce monthly payments by downsizing
- Expert guidance on timing your move
Remortgage
Switch to a more suitable deal and save money
What is the purpose of remortgaging?
At the end of your fixed or tracker rate you normally revert to the banks standard variable rate. This rate is normally very expensive. You have two options.
- Stay with your current lender and switch rates on a like for like basis.
- Remortgaging to another provider if the rates are more competitive or you want to capital raise and borrow additional monies
We recommend contacting us up to 6 months prior to your current product’s expiry date as remortgages are not an instant process.
Key Benefits
- Lower monthly payments with more suitable rates
- Release equity from your property
- Consolidate debts into your mortgage
- Switch from interest-only to repayment
Key Considerations
- Remain with existing lender vs switch to a new lender
- Compare whole market for the appropriate rates
- Review your financial goals and objectives
- Timing to avoid early repayment penalties
- Potential to release equity for home improvements or other purposes
